NFPA 268 provides a test
procedure to describe a
method for determining
the propensity of ignition
of exterior wall
assemblies from
exposure to 12.5 kW /m2
radiant heat in the
presence of a pilot
ignition source.
The 2001 edition has been revised for easier referencing
and improved usability. Some of the definitions were
revised for clarification and the references for specific time
periods for sustained flaming are now included in the main
body of the text.
